In a simple but impressive ceremony, 36 gold medals were awarded by Tehrik-e-Pakistan Workers' Trust to 36 workers of Pakistan Movement here on Sunday.
The recipients who were awarded medal on the occasion include one from Balochistan, 11 from NWFP, five from Sindh and 19 from Punjab.
Dr Javaid Iqbal, Chairman of the Trust gave these medals to workers or relatives of recipients who were present there to receive them on their behalf. Up till now 717 Tehrik-e-Pakistan Gold Medals have been awarded to workers of Pakistan Movement.
Majeed Nizami Editor-in-Chief Nawai Waqt and former Federal Minister Sartaj Aziz were present on the occasion.
