Qazi escapes unhurt as Kashmir moot stage collapses

Muttahida Majlis-i-Amal (MMA) Acting President Qazi Hussain Ahmed escaped unhurt when the stage of Integrity Kashmir Conference collapsed here on Sunday. The incident created panic in the conference.
The political and religious leadership of Azad Jammu and Kashmir as well as Northern Areas also fell down. However, the panic caused no major damage except minor injuries to few people, an organiser said.
The activists of the Jamaat-i-Islami rushed towards Qazi Hussain Ahmed, and encircled him.
However, the president, Islami Jamiat Talba Pakistan, Zubair Ahmed Gondal, continued his speech without any break, and succeeded in-regaining the attention of the audience.
