Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) President Mian Anjum Nisar has made an appeal to the industrial community to implement rules and regulations notified by the government with regard to EOBI, Labour and Social Security.
He said this during a meeting with the member Punjab Human Resource Board and LCCI Standing Committee on Labour, Tahir Javed Malik, who apprised him of problems arising out due to non-implementation of notification.
Anjum stated that under this notification, industrialists were given the facility that they should fill all the papers concerned and hand over to the departments.
EOBI, Labour and Social Security staff would have no interference in any industrial unit. But, he regretted that staff of these departments could have an opportunity of interference, as some industrialists were not giving attention to it.
He appealed to the industrial community that if industrialists failed to act according to this notification, old system would be revived, which would promote corruption and dishonesty.
