The prominent leaders of Pakistan Muslim League(N) on Tuesday claimed that party president Shahbaz Sharif enjoys every right to return and live anywhere in Pakistan as a free citizen.
They ruled out the existence of any agreement between the governments of Pakistan and Saudi Arabia and the Sharif family. They added that if the government hides any such agreement, then it would be in contempt of court.
In a joint press statement issued by the party's media cell here on Tuesday, these PML-N leaders including Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, Begum Tehmina Doultana, Zulfiqar Ali Khosa, Khawaja Saad Rafiq, Pervaiz Malik, M Hamza said that neither the federal government nor the provincial governments had challenged the return of the PML-N president.
"It is his constitutional right to return to his country," they added.
