Six people, including a woman and two minors were killed, while another 26 injured as a bus carrying a marriage party turned turtle due to opening of tie-rod at Bagh Head near Usta Mohammad on Wednesday, Police said.
The bus was on its way from Noshki Jadid to Usta Mohammad when the accident occurred. The driver fled the scene after the incident.
Those killed included Farzana (26), Zahoor Ahmed (8), Mohammad Azain (10), Mohammad Iqbai (22), Fazal-ur-Rehman (18), and Ganoor Khan (17).
Relief teams from Usta Mohammad reached the site soon after the incident, and shifted the dead and injured to Larkana for medical treatment where condition of 10 injured are stated to be serious.
The Bagh Head Police Station has registered a case against the bus driver, and started search for him.
