Pakistan Wapda Hydro Electric Central Labour Union has demanded of the government to hold referendum in Wapda so that Wapda workers can elect their collective bargaining agent (CBA).
In a press statement issued here on Monday, a spokesman of the union said that union has submitted list of its 107,500 members to National Industrial Relations Commission.
He also demanded of the government to ban transfer of Wapda employees during referendum campaign and Wapda employees must be issued their identity cards before referendum.
