Pakistani carpets exhibition in Japan

A leading Japanese importer of carpets has agreed to start a joint promotional campaign for Pakistani carpets in Japanese departmental stores.
According to a press release of Export Promotion Bureau (EPB) here on Thursday, President of M/s Fujilights Tokyo, Tohru Nemolo has agreed with Chairman EPB, Tariq Ikram during his recent visit to Japan to start this campaign in May this year.
The exhibition of Pakistani carpets will he held on May 28-29 at Pakistani Embassy by EPB and M/s Fuiilights.
It also said that Ikram also had held meetings with officials of Japan External Trade Organisation (Jetro), Japan Bank for International Co-operation, Japan Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Japan Association for the 2005 World Expo and various leading trading houses of Japan.
