It gives me great pleasure to know that a private sector company and its foreign associates are investing in the development of a landmark project in an under developed area of Sindh.
The Project reflects the confidence that investors have in the Government policies encouraging investment.
The province of Sindh has been blessed with gas and oil reserves and constant exploration activities have provided further results. It is, therefore, important that down stream industry should keep pace with the exploration and development activities.
Thus, the Jamshoro LPG Extraction Plant is a step in the right direction. It will provide the basic energy needs for over half a million households in the rural areas of the country and will provide large indirect employment.
I wish the Associated Group and its Joint Venture partners all success in this Project and assure them full support of the Government of Sindh in the implementation of this nationally important venture.
