Two security personnel were killed when a fighter plane of the Pakistan Air Force hit a fuel tanker near the runway after developing some technical fault, official sources said here on Sunday.
The officials said that the two security guards were killed at the air base as a result of the mishap. However, they expressed ignorance when asked about the identity of the two servicemen killed and the organisation they belonged to.
The deceased have been identified as Arshad and Ijaz - security guards posted at the runway of the PAF base here. Local officials also appeared tight-lipped when asked about the organisation the victims belonged to.
