The world over progressive political parties in a joint session held in Mumbai (India) has adopted a unanimous agenda in solidarity with oppressed nations and suppressed classes across the world to expedite struggle against US imperialism by establishing deep bond of unity among the progressive parties.
Seraiki National Party chief Abdul Majeed Khan Kanjoo told journalists in Multan on Thursday that Communists Party of India (Marxist Left) leader Sri Lata Sawami Nathan chaired the meeting held in Mumbai.
SNP secretary general Rana Bashir Ahmed Noon and central vice president M A Butha also spoke. All the leftist parties would stage demonstrations against US imperialism on March 20 in the world.
More than 200 delegates from 35 country's left political parties signed the joint declaration.
The delegates included from Pakistan; two parties SNP and Labour Party from India besides delegates from US, England, Russia, France, Australia, Canada, Japan, Italy, Switzerland, Holland, Spain, Sweden, Norway, Ireland, Greece and South Asian countries.
Kanjoo said a strong reaction and hatred was observed against US increasing expansion of imperialism across the glob.
The joint meeting decided for realignment of left parties against the imperialist exploitation and continuation of left parties meetings in the future to exchange strategies against imperialism.
The world progressive leaders meeting also constituted a five-member committee for motivating and organising the struggle.
