Bush establishes commission for space agenda

President George W. Bush established a commission on Friday to make space policy recommendations about what research should be done on the moon and criteria for human space missions.
The President's Commission on Implementation of United States Space Exploration Policy is an offshoot of Bush's call earlier this month to give Nasa a new mission to renew human flight to the moon and use it as a springboard to Mars. The nine unpaid members of the commission will examine and make recommendations on a science research agenda to be conducted on the moon and elsewhere.
