imageKARACHI: Chairperson Sindh Board of Investment (SBI), Naheed Memon called for need of cooperation of United States in the fields of education, technology, agriculture and health.

She said that the Sindh Government is pursuing the policy to take the women from the rural areas of Sindh on-board for the economic stability.

Naheed Memon expressed these views in her concluding remarks at the American Pakistan Business Opportunities Conference at New York, said a statement issued here on Tuesday.

She said that the women of Pakistan are very talented as the Mohtarma Shaheed Benazir Bhutto, who was the first lady prime minister of the Muslim World, is a role model for the women of Pakistan.

We also have many success stories of women like Sharmeen Ubaid Chinnoy and Malala Yousufzai, who excelled in their field, she added.

She said that many openings are available to further enhance trade and business activities between US and Pakistan and the government on the both sides are also positive in this regard.

There is a need to take maximum possible benefits from these openings by the business community of both the countries, she said.
