The Lahore High Court (LHC) has issued notice to the chairman, National Accountability Bureau (NAB) for February 4 in a bail application filed by one Arshad Mehmood facing a reference before an accountability court.
The applicant contended that neither he was defaulter of financial institution nor there is any evidence against him.
He, therefore, prayed to the court to allow him bail, and also direct the respondents to release him in accordance with the law.
The court, after hearing petitioner's counsel at length, issued notice to chairman NAB, and rose for the day.
