Three booked for fraud

City police have registered a fraud case against three persons including District Superintendent Post office, Sheikupura.
The complainant Malik Tariq Ali Awan, advocate here on Sunday alleged that senior postmaster Ahmed Ali Aulakh who had been transferred to Lahore Cantt post office had asked Malik Tariq to deposit money on double profit ratio in a new prime bank scheme.
The complainant said that he and other hundreds of people deposited lakhs of rupees in the said scheme.
And when the depositors demanded profit they were told that neither they had deposited any amount nor such scheme was launched by the bank.
