The Lahore High Court (LHC) has disposed of a petition filed by Khizer Hayat Patwari challenging his termination from service.
The court advised the petitioner to approach the Service Tribunal for redressal of his grievance.
The petitioner has approached the court against the orders of District Nazim terminating his services on the charges of corruption.
The petitioner contended that the respondent has taken action against him without hearing him and providing him an opportunity to clear his position.
He said that action of the respondent was illegal, unconstitutional and without lawful authority.
He, therefore, prayed to the court to direct the respondent to reinstate him in service.
The court, after hearing petitioner's counsel at length, disposed of the petition directing him to approach the Service Tribunal.
