Muhammad Husain was elected Faisalabad District Bar Association president by getting 616 votes, against 466 of his rival Muhammad Shahab, here on Thursday.
Javed Iqbal was elected the DBA secretary-general with 694 votes, defeating Javed Iqbal Awan, who bagged 389 votes.
Ashiq Husain and Pervez Iqbal Ramay have been elected Bar vice-president and joint secretary, respectively.
For the post of finance secretary, Abid Fareedi has already been elected unopposed while Irfan Ashraf has been elected library secretary and Zahid Ali as auditor.
