PESHAWAR: A meeting of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly's Standing Committee on Administration, directed authorities concerned to ensure transparency in the auction of government vehicles.
The meeting held under the chairmanship of Bakht Baidar was attended by Rafia Hina, Rashida Rifat, Iftikhar Ali Mashwani, Sahibzada Sanaullah, Idrees Khan and officials of concerned departments.
The meeting reviewed auctioning procedures of vehicles, their numbers and conditions at the time of auctioning.
The committee sought the details of vehicles in various departments and directed to constitute a committee of administration department to compile a report of the vehicles after inspection.
The committee also directed special audit regarding misappropriation of public money in spending on mosques in district Mardan over the question of Iftikhar Ali Mashwani.
The committee also discussed matters relating to the allotment of houses to government servants.
