Mohammad Amir, one part of the spot-fixing trio was caught in a spot-fixing scandal on Pakistan's tour of England in 2010 and was subsequently banned for five years. The tainted national player has been facing problem in getting visa for the upcoming England tour.
Immigration lawyers have told The Daily Telegraph that his case will depend on whether his admission into the country would be contrary to the public good. The decision will be at the discretion of the immigration officer dealing with his visa application.
Earlier, Mohammad Amir has faced the similar visa issues of New Zealand due to punishment of imprisonment faced by Amir in England due to spot-fixing.
Amir was banned from all cricket-related activity for five years after being found guilty of spot-fixing during a Test match against England in 2010. After completing his ban in September last year, Amir made a comeback into the national side and became an important part of the ODI and T20 sides.
