imageISLAMABAD: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Shaharyar Khan will go for the termination of the Big Three' System in the International Cricket Council (ICC) meetings scheduled to be held in Dubai from Monday (April 25).

The ICC Board will gather in Dubai for the second round of

meetings of 2016. In the lead up to these meetings, various other committee meetings, including the ICC Chief Executives' Committee meeting, will take place.

The schedule of the meetings include ICC Women's Committee (Thursday), ICC Chief Executives' Committee (Friday and Saturday), Audit, Finance & Commercial Affairs and Development Committee (Saturday), Governance and Executive Committee (Sunday) and ICC, IDI and IBC Board meetings (Monday).

Talking to APP, a PCB official said hopefully the powers of Big Three (Cricket Australia (CA), England & Wales Cricket Board (ECB) and Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) will be discarded after these ICC meetings.

"Currently the main agenda on PCB Chairman's mind to discuss in the meeting is to end the Big Three formula and finalize a new system," the official said adding the Chairman wants equal opportunities for all countries.

In 2013, the ICC made Australia, England and India more powerful, having more shares in the earnings, which drew lot of criticism from the independent stakeholders of the game. But the situation changed when new ICC Chairman Shashank Manohar expressed displeasure over the system.

Meanwhile, other key issues on the agenda of the meetings include structuring and scheduling of bi-lateral international cricket, update on the review of February-April 2014 Resolutions and ICC Constitution, updates on matters relating to USACA, participation in Olympic and Commonwealth Games, anti-corruption and anti-doping.
