ISLAMABAD: Leader of the Opposition in Senate, Aitzaz Ahsan on Monday demanded formation of Judicial Commission under the Chief Justice of Pakistan to investigate Panama leaks.
Speaking at the joint session of the Parliament, he said all those involved in Panama Leaks should give general power of attorney to international forensic firm to investigate their bank accounts.
He said that the government could approach the World Bank under its programme " stolen assets recovery" to probe assets stocked in foreign countries.
He said that retired judges of apex court were reluctant to assume responsibility of the proposed judicial commission to investigate Panama Leaks.
Aitzaz Ahsan said that off-shores companies were being run under the names of companies, but Panama leaks did reveal names of real owners, which were kept secret.
