imageISLAMABAD: Korea Exim Bank has started work on a feasibility study for a new Information Technology Park on Pakistan Software Export Board's (PSEB) land in Chak Shahzad and the loan agreement is expected to be signed by fall of 2016.

According to an official source, work on IT park in Islamabad would be followed by studies and construction of new IT Parks on PSEB's land in Karachi and Lahore in future.

The IT Park would attract international companies to develop software and hardware solutions and will also help boost the country's IT exports.

PSEB has 12 Software Technology Parks (STPs) in Islamabad, Lahore and Karachi providing IT-enabled office space.
