Excise deptt collects Rs153mn tax last month

FAISALABAD: The excise and taxation department has collected Rs153 million tax in different heads across the district during last month (February).

According to official sources here Thursday, the department collected Rs79.5mn as property tax, Rs59mn as motor vehicles, Rs8.3mn excise duty, Rs5.4mn professional tax, Rs0.3mn recreational tax and Rs0.2mn as cotton fees.
