ISLAMABAD: Minister of State for Federal Education and Professional Training Engr. Muhammad Baligh ur Rahman on Wednesday said the promotion of education was obligatory to curb all evils from the society.
While, presiding over the 7th Inter Provincial Education Ministers Conference (IPEMC) held here Wednesday at Higher Education Commission(HEC) the minister of state said that "we all need to work together for the betterment of education".
The minister of state expressed his satisfaction over the participation of all provincial education ministers in the Inter Provincial Education Ministers Conference.
Addressing the occasion he said that "it was a great day as all the provinces, provincial education ministers, educationist were gathered for the common cause of education.
The agenda of the conference includes sustainable development goals, progress report on national curriculum council, national education policy and use of ICT in education, progress report on intervention on non formal education, Waseela e Taleem programme by BISP, report on minimum standards for quality education, and national enrolment driver 2016.
