imageISLAMABAD: Pakistan Taekwondo team will fly to India on Wednesday to participate in the South Asian Games.

Talking to APP, Pakistan Taekwondo Federation (PTF), President Col. (R) Waseem Ahmed Janjua said as many as 8 male and 5 female players will be representing Pakistan in the South Asian Games.

"The Taekwondo event of the Games will kick off on February 13 and the team will depart to India on February 10."

He said the Indian players will give a tough time to the green-shirts in the South Asian Games. "The Indian players underwent tough training in Iran for the Games. "Our players will face a tough competition from the Indians in order to win medals in the event," he said.

"Our players will have to perform extra ordinary well in order to win medals in the Games."
