BRUSSELS: The EU and the United States reached a new deal Tuesday on Internet data sharing after Europe's top court struck down the previous arrangement for failing to protect users from US spying, European sources told AFP.
"The European Commission and the United States have reached a political agreement on a renewed and safe framework for transatlantic data flows" to replace the so-called "Safe Harbor" pact, the sources said.
