MADRID: Spanish stocks slumped 2.21 percent in the opening minutes of trade Monday on deepening concern over eurozone governments' sovereign debts.
The IBEX-35 index of leading shares on the Madrid market dropped 174.8 points to 7,735.4 in the first seven minutes.
