The hype surrounding the much awaited iPhone 7 has lead to a great deal of speculation and rumors surrounding the latest models new features.
Korea Commercial Times revealed three possible features of the iPhone 7. One feature that has been greatly speculated about is whether the new iPhone will be waterproof or not. Indeed if the rumors are true then we may see a rise in underwater photography. The irony is that waterproofing feature never gained much traction with consumers when it was first introduced to the industry by other brands. It is yet to be seen whether Apple can manage to create to a distinction with this feature.
The second possible feature that has come to light is that Apple has completely abandoned the antenna stripes. Commercial Times reported that one thing we know about Apple, it is that it doesn’t like being told it must compromise on design. But with the iPhone 7 the Commercial Times states the stripes will become a thing of the past finally leading to a uniform finish. However people are unsure as to how Apple will manage this.
The third feature of the phone is its ‘Smart’ Aluminium body. It is been stated that this feature is the one which will give Apple an edge over its competitors. Apple has been working on this technology for a while. As Apple has not yet disclosed the material used in manufacturing, it is widely believed that this change is the one which will compromise the lack of an antenna stripe.
Given that the iPhone 7 will be the thinnest iPhone yet, we have to see how these changes will be received when iPhone 7 launches in 2016.
