ISLAMABAD: Pakistan's total Liquid Foreign Reserves stood at US$21,073.9 million on December 25,2015.
Giving the break-up of the foreign reserves position, a statement of the Central Bank issued Thursday said that Foreign reserves held by the State Bank of Pakistan stood at US$ 16,171.6 million, while Net foreign reserves held by banks were US$ 4,902.3 million on December 25,2015.
The statement of the Central Bank said that during the week ending December 25, 2015, SBP's Liquid FX Reserves increased by US$559 million to US$16,172 million,compared to US$15,613 million in the previous week.
During the week, SBP received US$500 million from IMF under EFF.
