imageSUVs have risen quickly everywhere as people try to have more family time. Having a family car is one of the best ways to claim ‘We Are a Family’. However with large family comes need for a larger car and SUV is just one of those large cars which can fit in a whole family. The automakers have outdone themselves in merging technology into cars along with giving those elegant facelifts. Next raises the question of price. Listed below are SUVs trailing in Pakistan under the range of Rs5 million.

Prado has been a household name since its introduction, and owning one is associated as sign of royalty. However since its facelift in 2014 and introduction of 4th generation variants like VX, TX and TZ, the SUV has become all rage. Though, it is TX and TZ that are more affordable. The car is also doing its part for ecology, with updated V6 and VZ engines and a great gas mileage.

Vigo has risen quickly to be a people’s car in Pakistan, with bureaucrats having a best show of the Toyota’s SUV. Its half and half looks, which is a peaceful interior in front and open exterior at back, makes it a SUV for all seasons. The champ series have a lusher interior with an even impressive exterior. Toyota has gained an edged with this all-time care in affordable range.

Honda’s Vezel of 2014 underlines the superiority of technological cars of the Japanese company. Vezel not only radiates beauty from its headlights to fenders, but also opens its doors to a luxurious interior backed by LED lights. It is one of the best Hybrid SUV to embrace Pakistani markets in 2014. Honda is however working on a more technological Vezel Hybrid, to be revealed in 2016.

FAW is company looking to break in Pakistani markets with D60 SUV. The car reportedly has an Altis type 1.8 2ZR Engine with one of the best mileage figures of 7.2 liters per 100 km. With FAW concepts being well received in Pakistan, 2017 may see one the fiercest competition in car industry in recent years as FAW will looking to offer quality at low price.

One of the fastest rising cars in Pakistan is Jeep Cherokee. However it is the new model which is creating more hype. Set to be available in 2017, the new Cherokee combines technology and elegance. However it provides a little face lift from existing 2014 model. It is the same with Jeep that is space and speed. However with economic fuel sustainability it is on the move in Pakistan.
