ISTANBUL: Turkish banks' combined net profit rose 2.2 percent to 21.2 billion lira ($7.29 billion) in the first ten months of the year, data from the BDDK banking watchdog showed on Monday.
The BDDK said bank assets at the end of October stood at 2.35 trillion lira while loans totalled 1.47 trillion lira.
