LAHORE: Gilgit-Baltistan Governor Barjees Tahir and Chief Minister Hafiz Hafeez-ur-Rehman met Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif here Sunday and discussed with him the matters of mutual interest and important issues.
Shahbaz Sharif expressed deep sense of sorrow and grief over the loss of human lives and property due to flood in Gilgit-Baltistan.
He also stressed the need for collective efforts to transform Pakistan in accordance with the ideas of Quaid-e-Azam and Allama Muhammad Iqbal.
Pakistan Muslim League-N government led by Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has achieved a number of important successes and national economy has substantially improved, he added. Provincial Minister for Food Bilal Yasin was also present.
