ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has shown serious concern over establishment of control room by the government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for consolidation of local Government Elections result.
According to a press release issued here Friday, the secretary ECP said in a letter, the Chief Secretary Governmet of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa(KPK) has been asked to issue necessary directions to the quarter concerned, not to establish any control room forthwith.
The ECP further said that such control room already does exist at PEC office and in the Election Commission Secretariat.
