Shipping activity at Port Qasim

Meanwhile, two more ships C.V Maersk Kingston and M.T Bunga Bobcat carrying containers and palm oil also arrived at outer anchorage of Port Qasim during last 24 hours.

Berth occupancy remained at the Port at sixty two percent on Tuesday where a total of eight ships namely C.V Maersk Idaho. M.Y Wales-II. M.V Alaska-II, M.V Hai Yu, M.T Bunga Angelica, M.T Anggraini. M.T Stolt Zulu and M.T Kassos are currently occupying berths to load/offload containers, cement, urea, palm oil, chemicals and furnace oil respectively during last 24 hours.

Cargo handling operation were carried out smoothly at the Port where a cargo volume of 82,005 tonnes comprising 60,776 tonnes imports and 21,229 tonnes exports inclusive containerized cargo carried in 1.134 containers (TEUs) was handled at the Port during last 24 hours.

Three ships C.V.C.V Maersk Idaho, MT Bunga Angelica and M.T Kassos sailed out to sea on Tuesday morning, while another ship M.T Anggraini is expected to sail on same day.

Three ship C.V Maersk Kinston. C.V Al-Noof and M.T Sea Lion and carrying Tuesday, Aug 2. C.V Rio Eider C.V RHL Fiducia and C.V Pogo are due to arrive at Port Qasim on same day, while C.V ACX Lily and C.V CMA CGM Verdi are due to arrive on Wednesday, August 3.
