LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has ordered foolproof security arrangements in the province on the occasion of Eid Miladun Nabi (PBUH).
He directed that senior police and administrative officers should personally supervise security measures and remain present in the field while elected representatives should monitor security arrangements.
He directed that the security plan evolved for this purpose should be strictly implemented and clearance for Eid Miladun Nabi (PBUH) processions should be given only after complete checking of the routes, adding that the processions should also be monitored through CCTV cameras.
