imageSIALKOT: The Punjab government has released special development funds of Rs 280 million for several development schemes, including construction of 20 roads in the constituency NA-112 Sambrial.

MNA Rana Shamim Ahmed disclosed this while addressing notables at Jaamkey Cheema, Baddokey Cheema, Aadha, Rehan Cheema, Gadiyaala, Warsaalkey Cheema, Nagor, Uddowar and Kharoliyaan-Daska here after reviewing ongoing schemes.

Rana Shamim announced an early pavement of all thoroughfares in Jaamkey Cheema and surrounding areas and said the government was striving to raise a living standard of people by ensuring an early and smooth provision of all basic facilities to people at their doorsteps.

He said first year classes had been started at the newly established Government Shahbaz Sharif Degree College for Women Jaamkey Cheema for providing higher education to students.

Rana Shamim said the Punjab government had also approved a project of constructing Jaamkey-Silver Star Road, Fazalabad-Gadiyaala Road, Beerh-Happugarha Road, Jaamkey Cheema-Baddokey Cheema Road, Ghueinki- Kotli Murlaan Road, Nawaz Sharif Road, Ghueinki-Kharoliyaan Road, Ghueinki-Muhammadpura-Gidhpur Road and Tarigari-Sehwaala-Punjgrayien Road.
