imageISLAMABAD: The Indus River System Authority (IRSA) on Wednesday released 80,735 cusecs water for various rim stations with inflow of 40,006 cusecs.

According to the data released by IRSA, water level in the Indus River at Tarbela Dam was 1468.53 feet, which was 88.53 feet higher than its dead level 1378 feet. Water inflow in the dam was recorded as 17,400 cusecs and outflow 26,000 cusecs.

The water level in Jhelum River at Mangla dam was 1173.70 feet, which was 133.70 feet higher than its dead level of 1040 feet whereas the inflow and outflow of water was recorded as 7,871 cusecs and 40,000 cusecs respectively.

The release of water at Kalabagh, Taunsa and Sukkur was recorded as 50,047, 41,693 and 26,933 cusecs respectively.

Similarly, from the Kabul River a total of 8,800 cusecs of water was released at Nowshera and 5,935 cusecs released from the Chenab River at Marala.
