imageSHANGHAI: Average daily crude steel output from China's large steel makers fell 1.8 percent over the Nov. 1-10 period from the previous 10 days, industry data showed on Monday, as mills shut production during a major international summit in Beijing.

Large steel mills produced an average of 1.635 million tonnes of steel a day in early November, down 1.82 percent from a revised 1.665 million tonnes for the previous 10-day period, according to figures from the China Iron and Steel Association (CISA).

CISA data on Monday also showed that steel product stockpiles at major mills stood at 13.998 million tonnes by Nov. 10, down 1.03 percent compared to Oct. 31.
