imageAfter Ajay Devgan’s well-acclaimed performance in the film ‘Gangaajal’ in the year 2003 now, director Prakash Jha is ready to offer sequel of the movie. The poster of upcoming sequel of ‘Gangaajal’ has been revealed by the makers of the movie.

The poster shows a lady officer who is pointing a gun, while some other male officers are having a lathi charge. The first poster certainly generated curiosity among the audience wondering who the lady is in the uniform.

According to media reports Prakash Jha said, “Ajay Devgan gave me hope and faith and we continued to grow with each other. Both of us have decided to produce multiple films together and today he is here for ‘Gangaajal 2’ as that film cannot be complete without him”.

Reportedly, Ajay Devgan said, his friendship with Jha was 16-year old, “I was injured and resting at home when Prakash Jha came to me with the script of ‘Dil Kya Kare’ and after that we worked in many films. His films always have a strong message. People have always appreciated my work with him”.

Director Prakash Jha and actor Ajay Devgan will bring out a sequel to ‘Gangaajal’ with a female protagonist. Ajay Devgan played the lead in hit 2003 original, which was inspired by the blinding incident in Bhagalpur in 1979 and 1980.

Prakash Jha, who has collaborated with the actor on films like ‘Dil Kya Kare’, ‘Gangaajal’, ‘Apaharan’, ‘Raajneeti’ and ‘Satyagraha’, said Devgan is his mascot.
