Security beefed up during Muharram

LAHORE: Pakistan Railways police has made foolproof security arrangements for the passengers and public assets during the ongoing month of Muharram.

According to PR police spokesman on Monday,IG PRP Muneer A Chishti has directed all SPs to keep the police force on high alert and strict security should be provided at Imam bargahs, Mosques, Churches, Gurdwaras (situated in the PR premises), Railways property and track.

PR will remain in contact with the district police in this regard and its help could be sought in any emergency.
