imageISLAMABAD: All-rounder Pakistan cricket team Mohammad Hafeez has said that Pakistan A's win over Australia has given the Test side great confidence regarding upcoming series against Australia.

Talking to a private news channel, Hafeez said that Pakistan A's victory over Australia on Saturday has instilled positively in his team ahead of the first Test starting on Wednesday.

He said that Australia was bowled out for 185 which is a great sign for future bowling side of Pakistan.

"The way our A team performed was fantastic. We really enjoyed it and appreciated it," Hafeez said.

"The win has given us confidence that if we play well then we can beat Australia. The youngsters have proven that", he added.

He further said that they will take that positively into the camp ahead of the first Test.

Hafeez said that with the World Cup on the list Team really needs to work hard in every department especially batting and fielding.

To a question, Hafeez said that he was not feeling any kind of pressure about the issue of his Bowling action as he is confident about it.

"When I was warned in the match, that was under the BCCI rules, next match I bowled in the identical manner and nothing was made of it. I have had the same action for 11 years," he explained.

He added that he had worked on his action with Saqlain Mushtaq in Pakistan at the NCA and had his action examined with all the ICC rules in place and there were no issues.

Opening batsman Hafeez is a crucial member of the Pakistan team as he provides balance to the team with his ability to bowl off-spin.
