imageISLAMABAD: The Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) will hold 4-day "Alishan Pakistan", the second edition of the lifestyle Pakistan exhibition in New Delhi from Thursday.

TDAP Chief Executive S. M. Munir prior to his departure to India told APP Wednesday that over 800 participants from Pakistan will attend the event.

The exhibition will showcase top quality of Pak textiles, including high-end designer wear, various furniture houses will also exhibit and sell as well as market their products. The first 4-day lifestyle expo was held from April 12.2012 in the same city.

He said that expo is an initiative of TDAP to further build on the efforts of the government of Pakistan and India to normalize flow of trade between the two neighbouring countries. "With a trade potential of billions of dollars between the two countries, the event will not only offer a unique opportunity to the trade community of India to interact with their Pakistan counterparts but also a first hand opportunity for customers to feel and own the best quality products".

Chairman United Business Group and VP SAARC Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Iftikhar Ali Malik told APP from New Delhi that all necessary arrangements have been made to make expo a success and all participants from Pakistan are now actively busy to set their stalls for proper display of their products at the expo.

He said that Federation of Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Confederation of Indian Industry and SAARC Chamber of Commerce and Industry besides Indian government are extending all out best facilities to Pak participants.

He said that Vikramjit Singh Sehnay, an Indian tycoon and former President SAARC CCI will host a grand reception in honor of TDAP Chief Executive S. M. Munir and for Pakistani participants.
