KARACHI: Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah has proceeded on 2-day emergency visit of Larkana and Sukkur division on Tuesday to inspect the flood protective measures which are being carried out by Sindh government's departments to meet any eventuality of expected heavy flood in the province with success.
The Chief Minister along with Secretary Irrigation and other officers of local administration is visiting river Indus banks on Tuesday and will visit Ulrajagir Band, Qadir Pur Bank, K.K Band, Tori Band and take briefing from Secretary Irrigation on September 10, at the sites.
He will also inspect Gudu and Sukkur Barrages and hold meeting with Irrigation and Local Administration authorities and take a briefing about current flood flow situation and precautionary measures.
