Karan Johar announces with his next film with super star Akshay Kumar
‘Khiladi’ of bollywood Akshay kumar has been approached to feature in Karan Johar’s movie for the first time.
According to media reports, “The actor, who was on Karan Johar’s talk show ‘Koffee with Karan’, was quite vocal about the film offers he was initially showered with and how big banners never approached him”.
Karan Johar may have finally found an ideal script to cast the ‘Khiladi’ superstar. Karan Johar on thursday evening announced his next and first-ever movie with Akshay Kumar.
‘Akki’ was quick enough to respond. He said that he was never offered films by big and reputed banners and hence he had to depend on less popular banners to create a niche for him, media reports.
According to media reports, “Karan Johar has been keen on experimenting with actors whom he has hardly worked with before. For instance, ‘Shuddhi’ with Salman comes after a long gap, since the two last worked together in ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’ in 1998. And with ‘Brothers’ featuring Akki in the lead, KJo has certainly moved out of his comfort zone”.
