ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Trade and Commerce, Khurram Dastagir Khan on Wednesday urged Pakistan Tehrik e Insaf to focus on development of Khyber Pakhtunkhawa areas and avoid launching long march to derail the system.
He said that Pakistan Tehrik e Insaf (PTI), should work for strengthening democracy, adding the party should avoid to bring mob to change the system.
Speaking to a private television channel, he said that PTI should bring revolution in KPK through development work.
He said that PTI should respect the mandate of the people given to the Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N), party to run the government and strengthen democracy in the country.
The Minister said that long march call by PTI could disturb the operation Zarb-e-Azab, launched to flush out terrorists from North Waziristan Agency.
To a question he said that Pakistan Awami Tehrik (PAT), workers had used dangerous sticks to beat and injure policemen in Gujranwala and Kamoki areas.
He said that PAT chief had incited the workers in his recent speech for bloodshed. Khurram Dastagir said that the government will not allow anyone to sabotage peace in any area.
To another question he said that PTI wants to establish a technocrats set up.
He said: "No one would be allowed to derail the system at any cost."
The Minister said that Assemblies will complete there constitutional term.
