imageISLAMABAD: Lawmakers of various political parties has said that Sheikh Rashid Ahmed and Chaudhry brothers enjoyed power under the umbrella of a dictator and now are hatching conspiracies against democracy.

Talking to APP, PML-N Senator Syed Zafar Ali Shah said that Sheikh Rashid and Chaudhry brothers could not hoodwink the people as they know their political calibre.

Zafar Ali Shah said Sheikh Rashid should remember that people could not be hoodwinked through false and fiery speeches as they knew his performance in the past.

He further said that bad governance and maladministration had exposed tall claims of Imran Khan and the ministers who had left the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government had also exposed the claims of merit and transparency of the provincial government.

Zafar Ali Shah further said that PTI chairman was rallying support of individuals whose political careers had been buried by the people of Pakistan and they had been mummified for the rest of their lives.

Qaumi Watan Party (QWP) head and member National Assembly Aftab Ahmed Sherpao said that after Dr Qadri, the Chaudhry brothers would search for a new master.

He said that reality of opportunists like Chaudhry brothers had been exposed before the people and the so-called marches and revolutions would soon come to an end.

Sherpao said that Imran wanted tribunals and courts to give rulings of his liking and was banking on political `mummies' and `dummies' to resurrect his crumbling political strength.

He said people trusted Imran with their votes but he let them down by not delivering in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) and by banking on politically rejected stooges of dictators like Tahirul Qadri, Sheikh Rashid and the Chaudhry brothers instead of trusting the youth.

Senator Yousaf Badini of Pakistan People's Party (PPP) said that collusion between the Chaudhry brothers and Dr Qadri was a conspiracy of vested interests and that after defeat in the general elections, the Chaudhry brothers were at the mercy of people like Dr Qadri.

He said those predicting end of the government would soon leave for Canada.

Senator Haji Adeel of Awami National Party said that Imran should concentrate on delivering as a political party in KP instead of staging meaningless protest rallies.

He further said that Imran Khan should not mislead the nation by raising false slogans and holding rallies.

PTI should not waste the time of the people on roads as there was a great difference between captaining a team and leading a nation, he added.

Haji Adeel said that PTI chief should come out of the match fixing and rigging phobia, adding those who change their stances often could not become leaders.

About Tahirul Qadri, he claimed that he always came in the country with a particular agenda and even at present, he is engaged in destabilizing the democratic system.
