According to the Times of India Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan may star opposite Deepika Padukone in an upcoming sci-fi adventure, to be directed by debutant Nitya Mehra.
The film was initially offered to Aamir Khan, but the superstar turned it down due to disagreement over remuneration.
Now if rumours are to be believed Roshan has signed on to play the lead role opposite Padukone, who agreed to work in the film even before Aamir opted out.
The film will be produced by Farhan Akhtar under his home banner Excel Entertainment Pvt Ltd.
The Times of India quoted a source close to production as saying, “The film is a sci-fi drama with a time-travel spin. It has a romantic angle which spans across timelines. When the script went to Hrithik, he was impressed and promptly agreed to come on board."
