LAHORE: Local Met office forecast very cold and dry weather for most parts of the country, including the provincial capital during next 24 hours. According to local Met office, shallow morning fog is expected to prevail over scattered areas in plains of Punjab.
In the metropolis minimum temperature dropped to 1.8 degree centigrade on Wednesday while maximum was 14.7 degree celsius. Experts said there are no chances of rain in next couple of days in the city.
Meanwhile, in upper parts of the country the weather remained very cold and mostly cloudy.
Some of the coldest places of the country were: Kalat,Quetta -13C, Rawalakot -10C, Kalam, Murree, Dalbandin, Parachinar -09C, Malamjabba,Skardu -08C, Nokkundi -07C, Gupis, Drosh, Astore, Zhob, -06C, and Hunza -05C.
