GUJRANWALA: A gunship helicopter of Pakistan Army crashed close to the city limits on Monday but no casualty was reported from the ground while the pilots received minor injuries.
SP Civil Lines Shoaib Khurran told reporters that the chopper fell in the area of Cantt police station Gujranwala in the open area of a factory. He said Major Furqan and Major Imran received some injuries as they had jumped while using parachutes when the chopper caught fire.
Army jawans and police reached the spot for the rescue operation.
