GilaniISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani on Monday said the government had formulated policies to provide all facilities to local as well as foreign investors.

The Prime Minister was talking to Saleem H. Mandviwala, Chairman Board of Investment (BOI) who called on him at the PM House here.

Gilani said due to business friendly policies of the government, a number of investors from China, United Arab Emirates, United States of America, European Union and South Korea were planning to invest in various fields including energy, infrastructure and industrial sectors.

The Prime Minister asked the Chairman to focus on public-private partnership for optimal utilization of the potential and experience of the private sector.

Chairman BOI apprised the Prime Minister of his meetings with the Trade Minister of Malaysia, Pakistani expatriates and local business houses during his visit to Malaysia to attend "Malaysia Conference".

He also discussed the progress on reorganization of the Board of Investment.
