Matt-Damon-wed-publishKARACHI: Matt Damon and his wife Luciana Barroso will re-tie the knot at a lavish $1 million week-long ceremony in April.

The pair has been trying to keep the news hushed up but information has leaked, revealing that “The Bourne Identity” star rented all 78 rooms of the Sugar Beach resort for the event on the romantic Caribbean under the alias of Mr. and Mrs. Naff.

Even though their original wedding at New York’s City Hall eight years ago was a rather quiet event, there’s nothing low-profile about this one. Not the location, not the couple, not the duration, not the alleged no-kids rule, nor their guest list. They’ve invited Hollywood super couples Brad Pitt (“Fight Club”) and Angelina Jolie (Salt), and Michael Douglas (“Wonder Boys”) and Catherine Zeta-Jones (“Chicago”). George Clooney (“Ocean’s Eleven”) and Stacy Keibler (WWE Judgment Day) will also attend.

The Oscar-winner first met Barroso in 2003, while filming in Miami for the comedy “Stuck on You”. On a visit to a local bar one day where she was the bartender he noticed her from the other end of the crowded room. American media quoted Matt Damon as saying: "The moral is that when you’re tired, suck it up and go to the bar because you might meet your wife."

Best wishes to the happy couple!
